Entavir contains Entecavir, an antiviral medication used to treat chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection. It helps reduce the amount of virus in the body, slow liver damage, and improve liver function.

Mechanism of action:
Entecavir works by inhibiting the hepatitis B virus’s reverse transcriptase, an enzyme the virus needs to replicate its DNA. By blocking this enzyme, Entavir prevents the virus from multiplying, helping the immune system control the infection.

Uses:

• Reduces viral load in the blood

Adverse effects:
