Nitnib contains Sunitinib, which is a targeted cancer medicine. It belongs to a group of drugs called tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs). It works against certain types of cancer cells by blocking their growth signals.
Mechanism
Sunitinib blocks specific proteins called tyrosine kinases. These proteins help cancer cells grow new blood vessels (angiogenesis) and multiply. By blocking them, Sunitinib reduces the blood supply to the tumor and slows down or stops cancer cell growth.
