Lentris contains Lenvatinib, which is a targeted cancer medicine. It belongs to the group of drugs called tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs). It is used to treat different types of cancers by stopping the growth of cancer cells and their blood supply.
Mechanism
Lenvatinib blocks proteins called tyrosine kinases that help cancer cells grow and make new blood vessels (angiogenesis). By blocking these signals, it reduces the blood supply to the tumor and slows down cancer growth.
