Vonaday is a medicine used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and sometimes heart failure.
It contains Valsartan, which belongs to a group of medicines called angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs).

Mechanism 

• Valsartan blocks angiotensin II receptors in blood vessels.

• Angiotensin II is a chemical in the body that narrows blood vessels and increases blood pressure.

• By blocking it, Vonaday widens the blood vessels, lowers blood pressure, and reduces strain on the heart.

  • High blood pressure (hypertension)

  • Heart failure (to improve symptoms and heart function)

  • Sometimes used to protect the kidneys in patients with diabetes

    Adverse Effects

    • Dizziness or lightheadedness
