Trilavir-D is a combination HIV medicine available as a single tablet.
It contains three drugs:
-
Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (TDF) – reverse transcriptase inhibitor
-
Lamivudine (3TC) – reverse transcriptase inhibitor
-
Dolutegravir (DTG) – integrase inhibitor
This makes treatment easier by combining all three in one pill.
Mechanism
-
Tenofovir & Lamivudine: Block the HIV enzyme reverse transcriptase, stopping the virus from making copies of itself.
