Atazor-R is a combination HIV medicine.
It contains two drugs in one tablet:

Atazanavir (ATV) – a protease inhibitor

Ritonavir (RTV) – used to boost the effect of Atazanavir
It is usually taken with other HIV medicines as part of combination therapy.
Mechanism

Atazanavir: Blocks the HIV enzyme protease, which the virus needs to cut viral proteins and form new virus particles.

Ritonavir: Boosts the effect of Atazanavir by slowing its breakdown in the body.

Together, they stop HIV from making new infectious virus particles, lowering the viral load in the blood.
