Chemodoc contains Docetaxel, which is a chemotherapy medicine.
It belongs to the group called taxanes, used to treat different solid cancers.
Mechanism
-
Cancer cells divide by using structures called microtubules.
-
Docetaxel binds to microtubules and makes them stable.
-
This prevents them from breaking down, which is necessary for cell division.
-
As a result, cancer cells cannot divide and eventually die.
