Iversuvac 12 mg Tablet contains Ivermectin IP, an antiparasitic agent used to treat various parasitic infections in humans. It is commonly prescribed for conditions such as strongyloidiasis, onchocerciasis (river blindness), and scabies.

Mechanism of Action:

Ivermectin works by binding to specific channels in the nerve and muscle cells of parasites. This binding leads to an influx of chloride ions, causing paralysis and death of the parasites. As a result, the body can effectively eliminate the infection.

Uses 

Iversuvac  Tablet is used to treat:

• Strongyloidiasis (intestinal infection caused by threadworms)

• Onchocerciasis (river blindness)

• Scabies (skin infestation by the mite Sarcoptes scabiei)

• Lymphatic filariasis (elephantiasis)

• Ascariasis, hookworm, whipworm, and other soil-transmitted helminths

• Cutaneous larva migrans

• Head lice and rosacea (topical formulations)

  Adverse Effects:

  While Iversuvac is generally well-tolerated, some individuals may experience side effects, including:

  • Dizziness

  • Nausea

  • Fatigue

  • Abdominal discomfort

  • Skin rash or itching

  • Swelling of the face or limbs
