Levorid contains Levocetirizine, an antihistamine used to relieve allergic symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itching, and watery eyes. It is a third-generation antihistamine, which causes less drowsiness compared to older antihistamines.

Mechanism of action:
Levocetirizine works by blocking histamine H1 receptors in the body. Histamine is a chemical released during allergic reactions that causes itching, swelling, and redness. By blocking its action, Levorid reduces allergy symptoms.

Uses:

Adverse effects:
