Samisafe contains Ademetionine (also known as S-Adenosyl-L-Methionine or SAMe), a naturally occurring compound in the body that plays a key role in liver function, mood regulation, and detoxification. It is commonly used to treat liver disorders and depression associated with liver disease.

Mechanism of action:
Ademetionine acts as a methyl group donor in various biochemical reactions within the body.
