Trilavir L is a combination medicine used to treat HIV infection. It usually contains:

Lamivudine (L)

Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (TDF)

Efavirenz (EFV)
These three medicines work together to control HIV.
Mechanism

Lamivudine & Tenofovir: Block an enzyme called reverse transcriptase, which the HIV virus needs to make copies of itself.

Efavirenz: Also blocks reverse transcriptase, but in a slightly different way.

Together, they stop the virus from multiplying and reduce the amount of HIV in the blood.

Adverse Effects
